Acreage Guide is a simple reading site. We collect as little as possible, and only what you hand us on purpose.

What we collect

Only what you hand us on purpose:

• Checklist signup (Annual Rural Home Maintenance Checklist page): your email address. We use it to send you the checklist and occasional rural-homeowner tips — nothing else. To stop, reply to any email and you're off the list.
• “Email me my results” (Well Water Test Interpreter): your email address, plus the results summary shown on the page (parameter names, the values you entered, and their verdicts). Your raw lab PDF and its filename never leave your browser — they are never uploaded or emailed. We send the summary to you and keep a copy as the subscriber record.
• “Email me my triage summary” (No-Water Triage): your email address, plus the triage summary shown on the page (the steps you took and where you landed). We send the summary to you and keep a copy as the subscriber record.

Signup, results, and triage emails are delivered through Resend, our email sending provider, which processes the addresses and message content needed to deliver them. We don't sell addresses, share them with advertisers, or add you to anything you didn't ask for.

Cookies & analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure traffic in aggregate — page views, referrers, and general device and browser breakdowns. Its beacon sets no cookies and uses no browser storage; we run no other analytics. Cloudflare may set strictly-necessary security cookies when it needs to stop abuse, but we don't use those for tracking.
